Why MYRTLE?
Myrtle is the name of my great-great-grandmother on my dad’s side and, in fact, the name of her mother too!  Amazingly, my great-great-grandmother was alive until I was six! That’s her with my aunt Julie above.
Myrtle is the name of a flowered plant.  The flowers can be hot pink or they can be simple white, like my current logo.  The species is native to Northern Africa and Southern Europe.  As a flower, it symbolizes LOVE.
Myrtle was a more commonly used name in the 1800 and 1900s.  Myrtles have been ACTRESSES, PRINCESSES, ATHLETES, and WRITERS.  And a Myrtle girl could be you!
