This is Anja! At LA MILL!—a very special thing since she lives in Portland.

I have been reading her blog, CLEVER NETTLE,* for a long time, so it was the best fortune to meet her in person.  She is as lovely as her blog suggests, and it’s really exciting to be able to have a long conversation with someone about old clothes and new technology.  I have some big thoughts about collaborations already and I love to be able to discuss how others make them work.  Add a couple of cafe con leches and you have a wonderful Sunday.

And of course I love that she’s wearing a handmade dress!
