A new cookbook that’s perfect for this time of year.  You may think it’s just going to taunt you with spring and summer fruits, but it’s actually got a nice bright section for winter too!

And two of the recipes I’m most intrigued by seem pretty California-perfect: Avocado Velvet and Maple Syrup Coffee Pots du Creme {made with HANDSOME ROASTERS perhaps??}
